Dr. Hare, a Professor of Anthropology in the Department of Sociology and Social Justice, Social Work, and Criminology at Morehead State University, earned a Master of Arts in economic anthropology from the University of Iowa and a Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of Albany in the Institute for Mesoamerican Studies. Dr. Hare uses geospatial technologies to analyze social, economic, and political forces. Locally, he uses spatial statistics to study health disparities. In Mexico, he directs archaeological research and studies regional social transformations.
