For years, the KyFromAbove Program has offered unlimited access to imagery and elevation data collected for the Commonwealth via Web Maps, Rest Services, Geoportal, and most recently, the Open Data Portal.  Since joining the Open Data Registry on AWS, it is now possible to leverage KyFromAbove data using its cloud-optimized formats (e.g., COGS, COPCs, Geopackage, (Geo)Parquat, etc.).

Spatio-Temporal Asset Catalogs, or STACs, provide a common structure to describe and catalog spatio-temporal assets. This means that by creating a STAC, it is possible to create a dynamic (API) or static catalog to query and visualize KyFromAbove data. Such tools are available to access STACs using ArcGIS Pro 3.2+, QGIS (plus STAC-browser extension), Jupyter Notebooks, and the browser-based Stac-Browser and Stac Index webpages.

This presentation will focus on leveraging STAC tools and the KyFromAbove STAC Catalog.

ArcGIS Solutions and other ESRI templates can be a powerful resource that provide quick, out of the box results. However, sometimes they can leave you just short of what you need. With minor tweaking, you can transform Solutions to better fit your organization's. ESRI did the hard part, now make it yours.
This presentation will review Solutions and templates used by the Village of Indian Hill and how they have been updated for Village use. Topics include: ArcGIS Solutions, Survey123 Connect, Field Maps, Power Automate, Scheduled Tools, Lead Service Lines, Road Closures, Stormwater, Drone Flight Logs, Trail Maintenance Alerts, Fleet Inspection Forms.

ArcGIS Field Maps is an all-in-one mobile application that allows users to perform a wide variety of mobile workflows including the ability to explore a map with your organization's authoritative data, conduct data collection exercises such as asset inspections, and provide office and field synchronicity with location sharing. This session will provide an overview of ArcGIS Field Maps and its capabilities, designing maps and forms for use in ArcGIS Field Maps, and capturing data in the field.

The adoption and implementation of NG911 in Kentucky has increased the importance of 911 GIS data. Although this is a good thing, it does also increase the complexity of building and maintaining the data properly. This presentation will cover some of the requirements, concepts, and processes related to address points with a particular focus on sub-addresses.
